This website and all domain names are a trading style of Lea Services (West Midlands) Limited.

Welcome to our on-line store. Lea Services (West Midlands) Limited has previously served customers in the UK by conventional ‘mail order’ and the company has built up a reputation for reliability and customer service.

We can now offer you the same level service from the comfort of your own home right here with our exciting brand new website. We are highly experienced in the chemical manufacture industry and with this in mind we can ensure that you the customer receive the best service and customer satisfaction.

You can now view our complete catalogue on our website and order the products that you want online, secure in the knowledge that our level of customer service is of the highest standard.

Prices

Unfortunately, all prices are liable to increase which are out of our control. Should the cost of your order differ from that quoted, we will contact you either by telephone, letter or e-mail to request further instructions from yourself.

VAT

All prices on our website are exclusive of VAT at the current rate of 20% unless otherwise stated. Certain items may be exempt from VAT. Exempt or non VAT items are not necessarily identified separately. If you are VAT registered and intend to reclaim the VAT you will require a comprehensive VAT receipt which will, of course, categorise all items. Please contact us if a VAT receipt is required.

Ordering By Post

We accept orders by post and to do this, you will need to download an ‘order form’ and then return the completed ‘order form’ back to us. Orders by post can be paid by cheque or postal order. (Please do not send cash).

All cheques need to be made payable to ‘Lea Services (West Midlands) Limited’ and on the reverse of the cheque can you please write your cheque card number, expiry date and the cheque card guarantee limit. Should you not wish to wait for an ‘order form’, please write your order, clearly, on a piece of paper, along with payment details and send it to us using the address on the contact page.

When ordering items and paying by cheque, goods will be despatched once the cheque has cleared and we will keep you updated on the despatch date.

Ordering On-Line

AND NOW… you can order on-line, from the comfort of your own home, using our brand new secure shopping site. Available on-line is our complete product listings, including sizes, colours, prices, specifications and availability. Our website is updated on a daily basis and should you not be able to find what you are looking for, it may just be that we have simply sold out, so please, let us know and we will do our very best to get it for you.

Delivery

Postage and packaging within the United Kingdom is included in the price of each item (This excludes the Scottish Highlands, Ireland and Channel Islands. Please contact us to find out the postage rate for these or or other non UK mainland addresses). Goods are despatched using our first class courier service and is usually on Next (working) Day delivery. However, in order to take account of unforeseen circumstances, customers should allow 14 days for delivery. Postage is not refundable on returns. Due to Health and Safety considerations - Goods are delivered to customers’ doorstep only.

By agreeing to our Terms you are agreeing to our SHIPPING TERMS.

Returns

Refunds will be made for all items returned (at customers expense) which are unused, not damaged, still in the original packaging, still have any labels or tickets on them within 7 days of receiving them. In line with the Distance Selling Directive (This does not affect your statutory rights).

ALL RETURNED GOODS MUST BE NOTIFIED TO THE COMPANY, BY EMAIL, BEFORE THEY ARE RETURNED. CUSTOMERS WILL BE ISSUED WITH A RETURNS NUMBER AND RETURN INSTRUCTIONS BY EMAIL. RETURNED GOODS WHICH HAVE NOT BEEN ISSUED WITH A RETURNS NUMBER WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Please take care to pack the returning item carefully to avoid any damage and enclose with it the ‘returns form’ that was sent with your order. Also ensure the returning items are insured against loss/damage.

Goods damaged in transit MUST be reported to the company on the day of receipt - verbally to our customer care line. In addition, this must be followed by written communication within 24 hours.

Lea Services (West Midlands) Limited reserve the right to apply an administrative charge and restocking fee of twenty percent on all refunds. Delivery charges are none refundable.

Please note that goods returned under complaint will not be accepted unless clean and tidy. Health & Safety Act 1972.

Opening Hours

Our office/ customer support/ orderliness are open Monday to Friday from 0900hours to 1700 hours UK local time - the website is open 24 hours, 7 days a week:

The office and customer support lines are closed on all Bank Holiday Monday's, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Please be aware that when orders placed using the online shop will be processed for despatch during the next working day. Customers should make allowances for this when calculating delivery dates.

General

These terms and conditions do not affect your consumer statutory rights. Your continued use of this website is taken as your agreeing to the terms and conditions.

Limitation Of Liability

The Web site is provided to you on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty being given in relation to the Web site including (but not limited to) implied warranties of non-infringement, compatibility, security, accuracy or any implied warranty arising from course of dealing or usage or trade.

We make no warranty that the Web site will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, that defects will be corrected or that the site or the server(s) that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs.

We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of material uploaded or transmitted through the Web site

Indemnity

You agree to fully indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of these Terms & Conditions of Use by you or other liabilities arising out of your use of the Web site

Severance

Each provision of these Terms & Conditions of Use shall be construed separately and independently of each other and the validity of any one part shall not affect the validity of any other part.

Law

These Terms & Conditions of Use shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English court.

All errors and omissions are excepted.

A contract between Lea Services (West Midlands) Limited and the Customer begins when the Goods have been despatched - obvious computer errors in pricing will not be Honoured.

PLEASE NOTE: PRICES AND PROMOTIONS MAY BE CHANGED WITHOUT NOTICE. ALL ITEMS ARE OFFERED FOR SALE ON A GOOD FAITH BASIS. NO WARRANTY IS GIVEN THAT GOODS ARE IN STOCK OR AVAILABLE AND THIS MUST BE CHECKED BY SUBMITTING THE ORDER FORM. ANY CONTRACT BETWEEN THE COMPANY AND CUSTOMER DOES NOT COMMENCE UNTIL THE GOODS HAVE BEEN ORDERED AND PAID FOR.

ALL GOODS ARE AS DESCRIBED BUT CUSTOMERS ARE REMINDED THAT, DUE TO THE REPRODUCTIVE PROPERTIES OF THE INTERNET AND BROWSERS, THERE MAY BE SLIGHT VARIANCES TO COLOURS ON SCREEN.
